Having come through a Coma, Paralysis, and Amnesia that was so bad I didn't know what people were, I learned early that life is a set-up!
The good news I gradually learned is, you can change your set-up! Only twelve weeks after being told I should quit trying, accept that I was paralysed, I walked away unaided from that situation.
Just three words saved me and I would be happy to tell you what they are, but you have to be prepared to break free from your set-up before you ask me!
The use of my legs was taken but I didn't teach myself how again to walk, I taught myself instead how to take just one step at a time, one step at a time is all it takes! One step at a time allows you to run at any speed you choose diligently we must all have the discipline to choose our speed wisely, and this is my philosophy for the path to anywhere we need to go!
Sometimes things are good and sometimes things are bad and maybe sometimes it seems we just keep right on going down, but check your breathing, is that air? Suddenly things aren't looking so bad, and we need to remind ourselves we are still running full speed and when it seems everything is all downhill realise that the momentum is your ally, don’t lose any ground, and speed on out of there!
It's been a long, long road, for many of us until we got our blessings, but now everyday day is blessed when we realise we really do share in Zenzuu the break through we are promised! I believe we must share it with a passion because we run in privileged places as the Stewards of this incredible opportunity.
