Hi there. Thanks for visiting my page. I'm an entrepreneurial 50 year old first time mother of a 7 year old. Together my husband and I have kids ages 36, 31, 20 and 7. We also have grandkids ages 12, 10, 6, and 4 months. To say the least, there’s a lot of excitement around our house. My soulmate husband of 15 years and I enjoy working together from home, riding our Harley and unschooling our old-soul miracle child. I was told I could not have children when I found out I was pregnant the day after my 43rd birthday! It goes to show you it’s never too late. Our lives are richly blessed as we share this time and space together.

At our homeschool, Sparks Academy, our motto is "Where Living is Learning" so the search for knowledge, enlightenment, awareness and appreciation are important. Traveling the country in an RV, experiencing hands-on geography and history for homeschool, writing, playing games with my family, enjoying life and what it has to offer. I also love writing and am a published poet.

Old black and whites are my favorite; new Disney movies; biographies. I'm a sucker for sentimental or challenging movies (like Braveheart of The Last Samurai). It's easy for me to put myself in the place of the character and really feel what's going on with them - very emotional! I also love 'thinking' movies where you have to stay on your toes to keep up. Never been one for comedy...never really funny to me! Guess I need to lighten up a little....

Music is almost always on around our house and we have very eclectic tastes...from classical masterpieces, to rock and roll, to blues, to new age and to (some) hip hop, we love it all! I can do without rap though because I feel negatively charged when listening to a rap song - it's not the words necessarily because there are some very positve messages, it's just the vibration I get from it.
