Stoney was born in Charleston, SC and raised in Atlanta, GA. As a Georgia All American basketball standout in high school and college, he turned his focus from professional sports to entertainment. It was there in Atlanta that Stoney's talent in acting was discovered.
In the spring of 2001, he moved to Los Angeles to make his mark in Hollywood. Stoney's television credits now include Close to Home, Cold Case, CSI, and The Shield. He has also appeared in commercials for Coca Cola, Pizza Hut, US Army, Dominos, McDonalds and Volkswagen, as well as a few blockbuster movies.
